The apartments range in size from studio apartments – ideal for couples – to larger one, two or three bedroom apartments for larger groups. Sometimes we can suggest sharing options for single backpackers or couples where existing households are looking for extra members to fill a room.
The apartments vary in size, style, features and locations but the basics are constant. We have all backpacker accommodation requirements covered.
All apartments have Kitchens fitted with everything you need to cook and eat with: Stove and Oven, Microwave and Fridge, Crockery and Glassware, Pots and Pans, Cutlery and Utensils, Kettle and Toaster.
Bedroom furnishings can be supplied to order. Either Queen-size, Double, Single or Bunk beds. Bed linen is provided: Sheets, Pillows and Pillowcases, Doonas and Doona covers. Wardrobes and chests of drawers are provided to give ample storage for clothing and personal effects.
The Lounge-room areas vary according to available space. Studios have small couches whereas larger flats have full lounge suites and sometimes dining suites. All have heaters and remote-controlled colour TVs and DVD players.
All backpacker apartments have their own Bathrooms and toilets and some have washing machines. Some backpacker apartments have communal laundries while others are close to public laundrettes. Steam irons and Ironing boards are provided.
Most apartments have Incoming Telephone Calls.
The apartments are made available in clean condition but are not serviced during your stay. We provide the vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, dustpan and brush and ask you to keep the place clean.
All backpacker accommodation apartments are close to Public Transport.
The conditions of stay are simple. Although our preferred customers are backpackers on a three-month stay, the rent is collected Weekly in Advance. For genuine overseas backpacker travellers there is no requirement for a security deposit. There are no extra charges for gas, electricity or water as these are included in the quoted accommodation rental amount.

Our office and reception is at 80 Inkerman Street, St Kilda. From the city simply catch a tram from Swanston Street. The Number 3 or Number 67 tram will take you down St Kilda Road. Get off at stop number 34. At the intersection of St Kilda Rd. and Inkerman St. just walk to your right for 70 paces or so and you’ll find us.
